Since 2013, the Eminence Kids Foundation has been donating organic fruits, vegetables and juices to children who are seriously ill around the world. Today we’re excited to share the next steps in our journey: a refreshed website and a name for our teddy bear mascot.

Registered as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in the U.S., the Eminence Kids Foundation has delivered more than 31,000 organic meals to support recovery and long-term health for sick children. Our new website lets us share more about our work and accept online donations—an important step forward for the Foundation.
Alongside the website, we focused on another meaningful project: naming our traveling teddy bear. The bear has visited kids receiving treatment from Hungary to Vancouver, Las Vegas and Austin, bringing comfort wherever it went. Earlier this year, a team member suggested we give the mascot a name. The search kicked off at our Annual Business Conference, where Éminence employees worldwide submitted ideas. We received over 50 suggestions, and our Bear-Naming Committee narrowed them to three finalists:
– HANK (Healing And Nourishing Kids)
– Boldibear (a nod to our company president, Boldijarre Koronczay)
– Yarrow (after the yarrow plant root, used in skincare for its nourishing and healing qualities)
The bear then visited the International Spa Association Conference & Expo (ISPA), where more than 2,000 spa industry leaders voted for their favorite name. Back at our Vancouver office, we invited all North American employees to vote by companywide survey. A week later, the votes were counted—and we’re thrilled to announce our mascot’s name: HANK!
HANK recently starred in our #eminencekids social campaign. We pledged to provide one organic meal for every photo posted with HANK using the hashtag #eminencekids. Our spa partners and ISPA supporters helped us provide over 190 meals in just 40 days.
We can’t wait to see where HANK brings comfort next. Visit www.eminencekidsfoundation.org to learn more.
