How did you feel when you found out you won?
I got an email and couldn’t believe it—I thought it was spam at first! It felt unreal; I’ve never won anything. I told my husband, my parents, and my kids right away. My daughter even wanted to come with me!
What were the most unforgettable moments from your trip?
Every morning I walked the beautiful grounds and met amazing women from all over the country. It was memorable to hear their stories. I also tried lots of new activities and really stepped out of my comfort zone. The whole trip was life-changing.
What advice do you have for this year’s winner?
Take time to reflect and enjoy every minute. Use the retreat to focus on yourself—you’ll be able to let go of stress and anxiety. Whoever wins, make the most of it and really relax.
