One of Éminence Organics’ president, Boldijarre Koronczay’s, favorite sayings is: “Reach for the stars, but keep your feet on the ground.” He truly lives by it. As he prepares to accept the ISPA Visionary Award next week, he took a moment to go back to basics and answer your questions in our latest Q&A.

Here are Boldijarre’s replies to your top questions from Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn:
Colleen C. asks: “What is your ultimate #1 favorite masque in Éminence Organics history?”
Colleen — that’s a tough one! I love many of our products, but if I had to pick one favorite masque, it would be the Clear Skin Probiotic Masque. It has a cooling feel that helps reduce the look of oiliness and calms the skin. The mix of probiotics and natural ingredients treats problem skin effectively without drying it out.
Mikayla F. asks: “How many products can you layer at a time and still make sure they work fully? I want to use every product I have every day.”
Thanks for your support, Mikayla. Because skin is a living organ that breathes and absorbs nutrients, it benefits from variety — think of it like a balanced diet. Rather than using everything every day, rotate products. For example, use the Clear Skin Willow Bark Booster-Serum every other day and the Strawberry Rhubarb Hyaluronic Serum on the alternate days. Each product gives different nutrients and vitamins to the skin.
By changing up products, you avoid the skin “plateauing” and becoming less responsive to an ingredient — just like your body can plateau from the same workout every day. Switch it up! Variety is the spice of life.
Caroline A. asks: “What are the differences between serums, booster-serums and concentrates? Since serums penetrate deeper, how do you pick between them?”
Great question, Caroline — thank you! Here’s the short version:
– Serum: the mildest of the three, but still effective — it penetrates deeply into the skin.
– Booster-serum: a stronger, more targeted version of a serum. Think of it as an upgraded model with extra features; you can also use it to spot-treat areas (for example, Bright Skin Licorice Root Booster-Serum for a spot of hyperpigmentation).
– Concentrate: packed with active ingredients meant to be used all over the face, usually applied under your moisturizer.
Laura O. asks: “I’m 45 with fairly clear skin but get occasional pimples and a few blackheads on my chin. I tried the Clear Skin line and love it, but it didn’t clear blackheads. Any ideas?”
Hi Laura — glad you’re enjoying the Clear Skin collection! A bit of skin biology: blackheads form when oil clogs pores and the oil near the surface oxidizes and darkens. Everyone has some blackheads; they’re more visible if your pores are larger. To reduce them, use consistent exfoliation and get regular facials with an Éminence-trained esthetician who can safely perform extractions for the more noticeable blackheads. For occasional chin breakouts, try our Eight Greens Phyto Masque — it’s designed for problem skin in that area. Also, keep masques and moisturizers in the fridge; applying cool products can lower skin temperature and help reduce excess oil production.
Lina N. asks: “I need a body product I can use right after showering before I dry off. I’m undergoing chemo and my skin is very dry.”
Lina — thank you for sharing this, and I hope your treatment is going as well as possible. For deep hydration right after showering, try our Stone Crop Body Lotion. Stone crop is a soothing, healing plant with strong hydrating properties; historically it’s been used for burns, cuts and skin abrasions. We also have a blog post from an Éminence fan about her skincare experience during cancer treatment that you may find helpful. On behalf of everyone at Éminence, we wish you a full and speedy recovery.
Thanks again, everyone!
Hugs,
Boldijarre
