September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and it’s a cause close to our hearts at Eminence Organics. Boldijarre Koronczay, President of Eminence and a survivor of a rare childhood leukemia, made it his mission to bring the benefits of organic nutrition to children undergoing treatment. The Eminence Kids Foundation has since delivered more than 50,000 organic meals (and counting) to sick children and their families around the world.
Boldijarre’s Personal Story
Boldijarre’s story is the reason the Eminence Kids Foundation exists. At age four, he was diagnosed with a rare form of childhood leukemia and given less than a 0.1% chance of survival. He credits much of his recovery to his family’s steady support and their focus on organic nutrition.
The Eminence Foundation
The Eminence Kids Foundation is a true family effort. Mr. and Mrs. Koronczay, together with Boldijarre and his brother Attila, started the foundation in 2013 to help other sick children get strong through healthy, organic food. With the help of hundreds of supporters worldwide, the Eminence Kids “family” now includes locations in Canada, Hungary and the United States.
50,000 Organic Meals Served
Since it began, the Eminence Kids Foundation has served over 50,000 meals to support children’s recovery with healthy, organic food. Working with award-winning chefs, the foundation provides locally sourced, balanced soups and smoothies designed to support healing, wellness and long-term health.
Teaching the Importance of Organic Nutrition
Teaching children about the benefits of organic nutrition is central to both the Eminence Kids Foundation and the Eminence Certified Organic Farm. Each organization works to encourage healthy choices early on, helping future generations understand how organic nutrition can affect lifelong health and wellness.
