Sustainability
Many people want to help others and make a positive difference. It can be hard to know where to start, but giving back doesn’t have to be expensive or complicated. If you’re unsure what skills or resources you can offer, here are some simple ideas to inspire you.
1. Donate to a Charity You Care About
When you decide to donate, choose a cause that matters to you. You don’t have to give money—food, furniture, appliances, books, hygiene items, blankets, and clothing are all valuable donations too.
Do some research on the organization and how it uses donations. Look at its programs and fundraising activities to see how it operates. Reliable charities are usually transparent, use evidence to guide their work, are cost-effective, and have a solid track record.
Forbes suggests looking for charities that spend less than 30% of their budget on administration and fundraising. Websites like Charity Navigator and GuideStar can help you find this information so you can be confident your donation will have the most impact.

2. Volunteer Your Time
If you don’t have money to give, your time can be just as helpful. Think about your skills and find volunteer roles that match them. If you enjoy gardening, volunteer at a community garden. If you’re good with people, consider helping at a retirement home or hospital. If you’re building a resume, some companies welcome volunteers who want experience in their field.
Volunteering helps your community and lets you meet new people, expand your network, and gain new skills. You might discover a new passion or talent. Ideas to get started:
– Volunteer at a nonprofit
– Serve meals at a food bank
– Join a mentorship program
– Help in a community garden
– Volunteer at a senior center
– Assist with a food drive
– Donate blood
– Help build a home
3. Give a Gift That Gives Back
Giving feels great, so consider gifts that also help others. For example, if someone loves skincare, products from our Forests for the Future™ program support tree planting in developing countries. When you buy any Eminence Organics product, you help communities restore land, grow food, and build a more sustainable future.
Giving also benefits your health. Studies show that giving can boost happiness and well-being, reduce stress, help fight depression, keep you mentally active, and give you a sense of purpose.
Causes Close to Our Heart
At Eminence Organics, we support several charities year-round, including the Eminence Kids Foundation. Our President, Boldijarre Koronczay, survived a rare childhood leukemia. His experience shaped the belief that nourishing the body inside and out is key to overall health. The Eminence Kids Foundation delivers seasonal, organic fruits, juices, and vegetables to long-term care facilities in the United States, Canada, and Hungary.
The Foundation aims to teach children healthy choices early so they carry good nutrition habits throughout their lives. A portion of the proceeds from every product sold supports the Eminence Kids initiative and helps provide organic foods to sick children worldwide.
The Forests for the Future™ program trains farmers in developing countries to create sustainable forest gardens. These gardens help local people restore their environment, grow crops, and build a stable income for their families and communities. One tree produces about 260 pounds of oxygen per year, provides habitat for wildlife, and helps fight climate change. Thanks to this program, Eminence Organics is the first and only skincare company to have planted over 20 million trees.
