We’re thrilled to welcome two superstar sisters as celebrity fans: multiple GRAMMY-winning jazz star Norah Jones and world-renowned sitarist Anoushka Shankar, whose album Land of Gold is up for a GRAMMY this weekend.
Anoushka recently visited Beautiful You in San Diego—one of Norah’s favorite spas and a partner of Eminence Organic Skin Care. Deeply impressed by our organic products, she said, “I can take comfort in the fact that everything is plant-based, organic and not tested on animals. Daughters of sitar legend Ravi Shankar, Norah and Anoushka have each built remarkable music careers. Norah, a nine-time GRAMMY winner, has sold over 50 million albums worldwide and helped bring jazz to a broader audience with her breakout album Come Away With Me. She even invited our company president, Boldijarre Koronczay, backstage at her Vancouver concert. Anoushka earned her first GRAMMY nomination at age 20—making her the youngest and the first female nominee in the World Music category—and has been nominated several times since, with her latest work up for Best World Music Album.
