Eminence Organics on Chief of Station
The action thriller Chief of Station was filmed in Budapest and stars Golden Globe nominee Aaron Eckhart as a former CIA European station chief searching for answers about his wife’s death. Co-stars include Olga Kurylenko and Laetitia Eido. With intense fight scenes, gun battles and car chases, makeup artists used our products on set to prep the actors’ skin before their demanding shoots.
Dune: Prophecy
The HBO Max series Dune: Prophecy explores the early history of the Dune universe, set 10,000 years before the films starring Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya and Rebecca Ferguson. Much of the series was filmed in Budapest, with interior scenes shot at Origo Studios—one of Europe’s largest film studios, which has hosted titles like Blade Runner 2049 and Atomic Blonde. Landmarks such as the Parliament Building and Fisherman’s Bastion provided dramatic backdrops that blended with the show’s elaborate sets. Eminence Organics supplied products to makeup artists and cast members, including Mark Strong, Emily Watson and Olivia Williams, helping keep their skin camera-ready through a tight schedule.
Poor Things
While filming Poor Things in Budapest, Eminence Organics gifted skincare products to the makeup team and cast. The film won awards for Best Makeup and Hairstyling—led by Nadia Stacey and her team—and Emma Stone took home Best Actress. Our products were among the gifts given to Oscar-winner Emma Stone and multi-time nominee Mark Ruffalo.
All the Light We Cannot See
For the Netflix miniseries All the Light We Cannot See, which adapts Anthony Doerr’s novel about a blind French girl and a German soldier during World War II, we provided products to the makeup artists and cast, including Mark Ruffalo, to help maintain their on-screen look.
The Red Sparrow
The spy thriller Red Sparrow, starring Jennifer Lawrence, used many of Budapest’s iconic locations. The film follows Dominika Egorova, a former ballerina turned Russian intelligence operative, as she navigates a dangerous world of espionage. During filming in Budapest, Eminence Organics provided skincare products to Jennifer Lawrence. Key scenes were shot at sites like Heroes’ Square, the grand Boscolo Budapest Hotel, Lotz Hall in the Book Café, the Danubius Hotel Gellért and the Semmelweis University tower, each adding distinctive visual character to the film.
Alpha Gang
Currently in production, Alpha Gang is a sci-fi biker comedy about alien invaders posing as a 1950s leather-clad biker gang. The ensemble cast includes Oscar-winner Cate Blanchett, Chris Pine, Lily-Rose Depp and Dave Bautista. Renowned makeup artist Rick Findlater and his team are using Eminence Organics products on set to prep and protect the actors’ skin.
