“With this round of soup deliveries, we’ve now provided more than 1,500 nutritious, organic meals to seriously ill children.”

If soup can warm the soul, Eminence Kids hopes to bring warmth to many families this winter. Recently, volunteers from Eminence Organic’s Eminence Kids charity made homemade organic soups for children receiving long-term treatment at BC Children’s Hospital and for families staying at Ronald McDonald House BC in Vancouver. We served hundreds of bowls to young patients and their families, giving them healthy meals during their hospital stays. With this latest round of deliveries, we have now supplied well over 1,500 nourishing organic meals to seriously ill children. Believing that good, wholesome food should be part of care, Eminence Kids is committed to donating organic fruits, vegetables, and meals to sick children around the world.
In this recent Eminence Kids event, more than 50 volunteers cooked and delivered 720 servings of homemade soup. All ingredients were organic, non-GMO, and sourced locally to maximize nutrients, vitamins, and antioxidants. After making three tasty soups, we brought the meals — along with stuffed teddy bears and balloons — to children staying at Ronald McDonald House BC. The event had a lively, uplifting feel and created a special evening for both kids and volunteers. We also stocked the house freezer with extra organic soup so families could enjoy more meals after the event.
Eminence Kids was started by Eminence’s President, Boldijarre Koronczay, who, like many children at RMH BC, battled leukemia as a child. Seeing how nutritious organic food can help with both emotional and physical recovery has been deeply moving for us. A portion of the proceeds from every Eminence product supports the Eminence Kids charity — by choosing our products, you help provide healthy food to seriously ill children everywhere.
