At Eminence Organic Skin Care, we practice green, sustainable business and help our spa partners do the same. Through our Green Spa Program, we give spas clear steps to adopt eco-friendly practices and reward those who actively support the green movement.
Two of our spa partners were honored at the Green Spa Network Congress Gala Banquet. Chosen by an independent panel of spa industry experts, the Green Spa Network Sustainability Awards recognize companies that are building a sustainable future and inspiring others through leadership, innovation and commitment.
Congratulations to Natural Body Spa and Shop, winner of the Sustainable Spa Award for multi-location spas. Natural Body makes business decisions with the environment in mind—over the past 20 years it has used recycled paper and soy ink for marketing and recycled materials in construction. Their eco-focus extends to natural and organic esthetics, making Eminence Organics a natural fit for their Green Spa Pledge.
The Spa at Mohonk Mountain House received the Sustainable Resort/Destination Spa award. An Eminence partner for more than ten years, Mohonk features our products in facials, body treatments and massages. The resort’s “green roof” garden terrace lowers cooling costs, reduces stormwater runoff and provides habitat for birds and butterflies. Built from natural materials and carved into a glacier-formed bluff above Lake Mohonk, the spa and resort show a deep commitment to environmental stewardship.
