Professional Skin Care
Body care is becoming part of a more holistic view of beauty and wellness. Many clients now look for full-body treatments that care for their skin from head to toe. Meet that demand by adding results-focused body services to your back bar. Not sure how to begin? Here’s a suggested signature body treatment using the Stone Crop Body Collection.

Why Stone Crop?
Stone crop is a time-tested skincare ingredient for good reason. This Hungarian succulent targets hydration, healing and hyperpigmentation. As Boldijarre Koronczay, President of Eminence Organics, told DAYSPA, stone crop can reduce pigmentation and brighten the complexion while helping to firm stressed skin, tone the epidermis, moisturize, calm sensitivity and reduce signs of aging.
Body Treatment Protocol
Stone crop’s fresh scent and soothing properties make it the centerpiece of this signature body service. Combining an energizing scrub, a restorative body wrap and a deeply hydrating finish, this protocol leaves skin visibly refreshed and rejuvenated. Follow these steps for a memorable spa experience.
Table setup
– 2 linen sheets (to place on top of the table)
– 1 wool blanket (to place on the sheets)
– 1 Mylar blanket (to place over the wool blanket)
– 2 plastic body wrap sheets (to place on top of the Mylar blanket)
– 3 hot, wet bath towels (optional)
– 7 hot, wet hand towels (for modesty and product removal)
– 1 spatula
– 3 bowls
– Warm water or tea
Note: Product amount will vary by client size and the areas being treated. Do not use body lotions or oils before applying body wraps.
1. Scrub
Polish the skin using sugar for moisture and rock salt for gentle invigoration. The Stone Crop Revitalizing Body Scrub foams into a creamy lather and is enriched with stone crop, turmeric and lemon peel to brighten and smooth skin.
Apply the Stone Crop Revitalizing Body Scrub in circular motions over the whole body, working from the limbs toward the heart. Leave it on.
2. Wrap
Extend stone crop’s hydrating and brightening effects with the Stone Crop Restorative Body Wrap. Active ingredients like horse chestnut and caffeine help skin look renewed, while a cool aloe infusion makes this gel-based wrap great for clients who’ve been in the sun.
Dispense 2–4 tablespoons of the Stone Crop Restorative Body Wrap into a bowl and dilute with warm water or tea at a 1:1 ratio. Apply it alone or layer it over the scrub.
Application
– Ask the client to lie face up on the table with a modesty towel in place (follow your spa’s draping policy).
– Apply a thin layer of body wrap to each leg and wrap each leg with a plastic sheet.
– Help the client sit up, holding the modesty towel with their arms across their chest, and apply a thin layer of wrap to the back. Wrap the plastic sheet around the client’s shoulders.
– Help the client lie back down on their back.
– Apply a thin layer of wrap to each arm, cross the arms over the chest again and wrap with a plastic sheet.
– Wrap the second plastic sheet around the client (add hot towels if used), then cover with the Mylar blanket and finally the wool blanket.
– Leave the wrap on for 10–20 minutes and perform a short treatment during this time (mini facial or neck, face and scalp massage).
Wet room removal
– Unwrap the wool blanket, Mylar blanket and plastic sheets and ask the client to shower.
– While the client showers, remove the plastic sheets, Mylar blanket, cooled towels (if used) and wool blanket from the table.
– Have the client return to the table and lie on their front between dry sheets.
Dry room removal
– Unwrap the wool blanket and Mylar blanket and remove cooled bath towels from the legs.
– Use hot, wet hand towels to remove product, rolling the plastic sheet toward the body, and cover the client with a dry sheet.
– Once the legs are clean, cover them with a dry sheet.
– Help the client sit up, holding the modesty towel with their arms across their chest, and remove product from the back using hot, wet towels.
– Roll the plastic sheet, Mylar and wool blanket down to their hips and help the client lie back down on the dry sheet.
– Remove product from the arms and continue covering the upper body with the dry sheet.
– Ask the client to lift their hips so you can remove the remaining sheets and blankets from underneath them.
– The client should now be lying on their back on the dry sheet and fully covered with a second dry sheet.
– Ask the client to turn over and lie on their front between the dry sheets.

3. Massage (optional)
If your spa is licensed for massage, use this time to address the client’s aches and tension. The Stone Crop Body Oil, with stone crop and arnica, works well for massage, hand and foot treatments or daily moisturizing. It absorbs quickly, has a light scent and leaves a matte satin finish that appeals to all genders.
4. Moisturize
Finish the service with a rich moisturizing treatment. The Stone Crop Body Lotion, with stone crop and lemon, soothes, tones and refreshes dry skin. For extra hydration and to help reduce the appearance of cellulite, use the Stone Crop Contouring Body Cream, which includes microalgae and coffee extracts.
Apply the Stone Crop Contouring Body Cream to targeted problem areas, then follow with the Stone Crop Body Lotion on the back, legs, décolleté and arms. Leave it on.
