Lifestyle & Wellness
Healthy, glowing skin starts with giving your body the best nature provides. That means eating plenty of organic fruits and vegetables and using skin-care products packed with natural, organic ingredients.

Want to flush out toxins this fall? Getting enough sleep, sweating, and drinking plenty of water all help. Another easy and delicious way is a simple smoothie. Inspired by the fall harvest, this Autumn Detox Smoothie uses seasonal fruits and vegetables full of antioxidants, nutrients, and natural detoxifying benefits.
Key smoothie ingredients that help cleanse naturally:
– Beets (beetroot): High in fiber and rich in vitamin A, manganese, and nitrates, beets support blood purification and liver cleansing.
– Pears: One of the most fiber-rich fruits, pears help keep your colon healthy, reduce belly bloat, and support digestion.
– Apples: Packed with vitamins A and C, calcium, and fiber, apples help clear the digestive tract and remove toxins.
– Spinach: Leafy greens like spinach increase chlorophyll in the digestive system, which helps eliminate toxins.
– Ginger: Known for liver-supporting benefits, ginger also contains many antioxidants that fight free radicals and offer anti-aging effects.
The Recipe:
Ingredients:
– 1 medium beet
– 1 cup organic baby spinach

– 1 handful fresh mint leaves, chopped
– 1/2 ripe banana
– Juice of 1 lime
– 1 tbsp honey (or to taste)
– 1/3 cup water (or coconut water/milk)

Instructions:
1. Chop the beet, pear, and apples into small cubes.
2. Grate the ginger and chop the mint.
3. Put all ingredients into the blender except the beets.
4. Bring water to a boil, add the beets, and boil for 2 minutes.
5. Remove the beets from the water and add them to the blender.
6. Squeeze the lime juice over the ingredients, add honey, water (or coconut water/milk), and ice.
